I am a highly trained Gastroenterologist with a patient-centered and holistic approach to my clinical practice. I graduated from the Joint Medical Program with a Bachelor of Medicine with Distinction in 2015. I completed specialty training in Gastroenterology at Royal North Shore and Bankstown Hospital. I was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) in 2022. I then undertook post-fellowship training in Hepatology and Hepatocellular Carcinoma at Westmead Hospital.

Throughout my training, I have been heavily involved in the teaching and mentorship of medical students and junior doctors. I am also committed to clinical research with several publications in peer-reviewed journals. I am accredited by the Australian Conjoint Committee for the Recognition of Training in Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (CCRTGE) to perform gastroscopy and colonoscopy.

I have wide-ranging interests in Gastroenterology including acute/chronic liver diseases, quality in gastroscopy & colonoscopy, inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome and functional GI disorders.

Outside of work, I love to spend time with my wife and dog (Scout) in the parks, waterways and beaches of Sydney. Iā€™m also a keen road cyclist so will take every opportunity to head out on the bike. I also love getting back to my hometown of Inglewood in outback Queensland, where I embrace rural life and spend time with family and friends.
